​I need to have my windshield repaired/replaced. What is the process?

You as the consumer have a right to choose where you want your windshield replaced. You may choose a local glass shop of your choice or most insurance companies are set up with mobile repair companies that they can dispatch to your home, work or anywhere you choose to have it repaired. You do not have to even be there. Also most insurance companies now waive your comprehensive deductible if the windshield is able to be repaired instead of replaced. The rule of thumb is that if the crack can be covered with a dollar bill then it should be repairable.
